New Year's Eve

Hi Everybody,

I would like to know how you spend New Year's Eve? Do you go somewhere or stay home with your parents? Or you stay home and give a party? Do you have any special thing you do this day? We go out with our friends every year. We like spending this evening in the street with people. This year our friends come to us, we have dinner and a glass of champagne. About 9 pm we go out the street. We buy sparklers in the street and fired them. At midnight we sing the Hungarian anthem drink some champagne again and watch fireworks. After then we start to go home. We have cabbage soup the next day. We like it very much. If you want to try I am copying its recipe. Try it, it is very easy to make it.

Hearty cabbage soup

Ingredients

1. 4 cups chopped green cabbage
2. 2 medium carrots, sliced
3. 2 medium celery stalks, sliced
4. 1 medium onion, chopped
5. 1 (10 ounce) package frozen green beans, thawed slightly
6. 1 (15.5 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained, rinsed
7. 6 cups water
8. 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
9. 2 cups canned crushed tomatoes, undrained
10. 1 envelope GOOD SEASONS Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix

Cooking directions

1. Place all ingredients in 6- or 8-qt. stockpot.
2. Bring to boil on high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low.
3. Simmer 30 min. or until vegetables are tender.
